Content Policy

What is and is not allowed on StadiumStub, how to report something, and what we do about it.

Last updated April 2026

StadiumStub includes social features: profiles, in-app chat, shared attendance, uploaded photos, and leaderboards. This policy sets the standard for anything you post, send, or share through the app, and applies to every account.

1. What is not allowed

Do not post, send, upload, or share:

  • Harassment or abuse. Threats, bullying, stalking, or targeted attacks on another person.
  • Hate speech. Content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or veteran status.
  • Sexual content. Pornography, sexually explicit material, or any sexual content involving minors, which we report to the relevant authorities.
  • Violence. Graphic violence, glorification of violence, or content promoting self-harm.
  • Illegal activity. Content that facilitates crime, including ticket fraud, counterfeit credentials, or unauthorized resale in violation of venue or local rules.
  • Impersonation. Posing as another person, a team, a venue, a league, or StadiumStub itself.
  • Infringement. Photos, video, logos, or other material you do not have the rights to share.
  • Private information. Another person’s address, phone number, seat location, ticket barcode, or other identifying details shared without their consent.
  • Spam and manipulation. Bulk or repetitive messaging, advertising, scams, or attempts to falsify attendance records, stats, or leaderboard standing.
  • Malicious activity. Malware, phishing, or attempts to interfere with the app, our infrastructure, or another user’s account.

2. Reporting something

Report content, a message, or an account to report@stadiumstub.com. Include what you saw, where you saw it, and any usernames involved. Reports are reviewed by a person.

You can also block another user from within the app, which removes their access to your profile, tickets, and check-ins, and prevents them from contacting you.

If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. We are not an emergency service and cannot dispatch help.

3. What we do about it

  • We review every report we receive and act promptly where the report is valid.
  • Depending on severity and history, we may remove the content, restrict a feature, suspend the account, or terminate it permanently.
  • We remove content that violates this policy whether or not it was reported.
  • We report content involving child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.

4. Copyright

If material on StadiumStub infringes a copyright you own or represent, send a notice to report@stadiumstub.com including: identification of the work, identification of the material and where it appears, your contact details, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act, and your signature.

We remove infringing material where appropriate and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

5. Appeals

If we act on your account and you believe we got it wrong, reply to the notification or write to report@stadiumstub.com. A person will review it.

6. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes are reflected in the date at the top of this page, and where appropriate we will give notice in the app.
